Community Microgrid Assistance Partnership

The Community Microgrid Assistance Partnership (C-MAP) initiative aims to deliver clean, reliable, and affordable energy solutions to underserved and Indigenous communities. The selected contractor will provide technical, financial, and community engagement services in support of advanced microgrid development. Key deliverables will include design specifications, development plans, introductory designs, performance assessments, financial assessments, construction specifications, and a final report. • The project will directly support Washoe County’s sustainability goals by advancing innovative energy systems, strengthening financial accountability, and building community resilience. • The contractor must demonstrate the ability to assess social and environmental impacts, engage local stakeholders, and provide training or capacity-building to support ongoing community operations. • The project includes system performance modeling, cost-benefit analysis, and identification of funding sources to ensure long-term sustainability.
