39th Street Lift Station & Forcemain Decommission Project

The City of St. Michael is seeking bids to fully decommission an existing lift station and associated force main, remove existing bituminous pavement, perform extensive excavation, place aggregate base, install new HDPE and PVC sewer pipes, and complete related site work. This full‑scope civil construction contract includes demolition, utility removal, pipe installation, and finishing work such as paving and landscaping. • Demolition of existing lift station and removal of a 210‑ft force main. • Removal of approximately 3,200 SY of bituminous pavement and excavation of roughly 800 CY of material. • Installation of new 8‑in. HDPE and PVC sewer pipelines (≈ 1,200 LF total). • Placement of aggregate base (≈ 1,150 TON) and new bituminous paving (≈ 240 TON). • Sitework including grading, traffic control, signage, and seeding/landscaping.
