Uniform Cleaning and Repair Services

The City of West Jordan, on behalf of the West Jordan City Fire Department, is seeking uniform cleaning and repair services for its departmental staff. The contract requires the vendor to pick up and drop off items at four fire department locations, provide a maximum two-day turnaround, and have drive-up capability. The vendor must also be able to make small repairs to clothing and remove and apply shoulder patches to uniform shirts. The contract has a term of one year with two one-year renewal options. The city reserves the right to terminate the contract with a 60-day written notice. Key aspects of the contract include: • The vendor must provide all costs as listed on Attachment A – Cost Schedule. • The vendor must have liability insurance with a limit of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate. • The vendor must have workers' compensation insurance with a limit of at least $1,000,000 for each accident, disease, and employee. • The vendor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. • The vendor must maintain accurate records and provide them to the city upon request. The contract is expected to be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
