Purchase and Delivery of Night Vision Monocular & Helmet Mounts

The City and Borough of Juneau, Finance Department, Purchasing Division, issued a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the purchase and delivery of night vision monoculars and helmet mounts. The contract was awarded to Night Vision Universe, LLC, with a total bid of $20,100.00. The scope of work includes the delivery of Own the Night brand, PVS-14 model #140019 night vision monoculars or approved equivalents, and Wilcox brand, G-11 model #28300G11-B Army helmet mounts or approved equivalents. The contract is expected to be active for at least 90 days, with delivery requested within 90 calendar days after receipt of order. • The night vision monoculars must meet or exceed specific technical specifications, including eye relief, power source, focus range, and weight. • The helmet mounts must meet or exceed specific technical specifications, including dimensions, weight, and material construction. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and city laws, and must have all necessary licenses and permits. • The contractor must provide a PDF instruction manual and OEM parts manual at the time of delivery. • The contractor must guarantee parts availability for a minimum of 10 years or the reasonable life of the units, whichever is greater.
