This contract provides comprehensive on‑site medical, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, and optional mental‑health services to Sedgwick County’s juvenile detention, juvenile residential, and adult residential/work‑release correctional facilities. The award is a fixed‑price, per‑diem (capitation) arrangement covering a three‑year base term with two one‑year renewal options. The vendor must staff 24/7 medical personnel, manage medication dispensing, maintain paper health records, and comply with Kansas DCF licensing, background‑screening, and reporting requirements. The County supplies office equipment, internet, and facility space; the vendor supplies clinical staff, radios, and all required medical supplies. The contract value is roughly $1.2 million over three years, with a $35,000 annual cap on external medical expenses and a cost‑share provision for any over‑run.
