Fire Apparatus and Related Vehicles

This indefinite‑quantity, four‑year contract establishes a cooperative purchasing vehicle for H‑GAC members to acquire fire apparatus and related vehicles on an as‑needed basis. The awardee supplies a full catalog of fire‑service equipment—including wildland trucks, aerial ladders, pumpers, tankers, ARFF units, special‑service vehicles, boats, command vehicles, alternative‑fuel models, maintenance plans, parts, and accessories—at a disclosed discount off the manufacturer’s list price, plus defined order‑processing fees per purchase order. The contract is not volume‑guaranteed; purchases are driven by individual member needs, and the contractor must maintain Texas dealer licensing, warranties, and rapid service response. An optional one‑year extension may be exercised by H‑GAC. • IDIQ/blanket agreement covering 10 vehicle categories and service plans. • Discount‑based pricing model with fixed administrative charges per order. • 4‑year term (Dec 2023 – Nov 2027) with one optional 1‑year renewal; no minimum purchase quantity. • Vendor must be a licensed Texas dealer, provide warranties, and meet NFPA/DOT/OSHA standards.
