The City of Prescott awarded a contract to plan, organize, and manage a multi‑day Mountain Bike/Gravel cycling event. The contractor(s) must develop a comprehensive logistics plan, coordinate with city agencies, provide on‑site staffing, handle marketing, manage budgeting, and deliver post‑event financial reporting. The scope includes a minimum two‑day event with at least 1,000 participants, professional rider components, family activities, and extensive vendor coordination. The City supplies only limited support (e.g., traffic control, public safety) and requires the contractor to assume all other costs, including equipment, staffing, insurance, and marketing. The contract starts July 1 2025 for a one‑year term with up to four optional one‑year extensions.
