Professional Auditing Services

The City of La Porte is seeking professional auditing services for the fiscal years ending September 30, 2018, 2019, and 2020. The audits are to be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and other relevant regulations. The contract was awarded to Whitley Penn. Key aspects of the contract include: • Auditing financial statements for the specified fiscal years • Performing audits in accordance with GAAS and other relevant standards • Examining compliance with procedures established by Charter, Ordinance, or State and Federal Laws or regulations • Submitting proposals in digital copy, including one marked original and two duplicates, clearly marked with the RFP number and description.
