Description
The City of Port Arthur solicited competitive proposals for Management Services for the Babe Didrickson Zaharias Municipal Golf Course. The contract was awarded to Aquila Golf, Inc. for a term of 5 years, with the option to renew for an additional 5 years. The Manager is responsible for operating, supervising, and maintaining the golf course, including providing professional golf instruction, merchandise, food, and beverages. The City will maintain a capital improvement fund for golf course improvements, and the Manager will construct or supervise the construction of said improvements.
