DPS Wealth Management & Retirement Information & Education

The State of Utah Division of Purchasing issued a Request for Statement of Qualifications (RFSQ) for the provision of staff members of the Department of Public Safety (DPS) with wealth management, retirement information, and education. The RFSQ is for a contract under Administrative Rule R33-5-108 for the Small Purchases of Professional Service Providers and Consultants. The contract will be awarded to the most qualified vendor based on their statement of qualifications. The scope of work includes providing portfolio consulting services to or on behalf of public or private entities for a minimum of five years, and having an established history of meeting deadlines. • The contractor must be licensed as a financial or tax advisor. • The contractor must have extensive qualifications and experience relating to Investment Consultant Services. • The contractor must be familiar with and have a general overview of related tax laws on retirement benefits. • The contractor must be familiar with and have an in-depth knowledge of Utah Retirement System (URS). • The contractor must have experience in providing portfolio consulting services to or on behalf of public or private entities for a minimum of five years. • The contractor must have established history of meeting deadlines.
