Description
This contract is a sealed‑bid solicitation by the City of Worcester for front‑end loader services to support the Department of Public Works (DPW) during city‑wide leaf‑collection and related activities for a one‑year period. The contractor must provide a CAT‑936‑class front‑end loader (or equivalent) with both claw and open‑bucket attachments, operate at least eight hours per day, six days a week, and supply both operator and fuel. Equipment must be garaged within a 10‑mile radius of City Hall, be fully registered for road use, and comply with Massachusetts prevailing‑wage, insurance, bonding, and various city‑policy certifications (CORI, gender‑identity, MWBE, etc.). The bid is evaluated on a unit‑price basis, with the city reserving the right to award multiple vendors in ascending order of price.
