Digital Orthophotography

This contract calls for McHenry County to obtain high‑resolution, true‑color, four‑band digital orthophotography covering the entire county (≈ 600 sq mi) plus a 1‑mile exterior buffer. The awardee must conduct a spring 2025 leaf‑off aerial survey, collect new ground‑control points, integrate existing county control data, meet ASPRS Level II positional accuracy (≈ 7.5 cm pixels), and deliver gap‑free mosaics, a DEM for orthorectification, and complete FGDC‑compliant metadata. The work is governed by the County’s Standard Terms and Conditions, requiring the County to retain full ownership of all deliverables, compliance with Illinois prevailing‑wage and labor statutes, and provision of bonds/insurance where applicable.
