Generators 1 and 5 Control Panel Isolation and CEMS Replacement

The City of Cedar Rapids is seeking bids for the replacement of the Water Pollution Control Facilities off gas stack Continuous Emissions Monitoring System Carbon Monoxide Analyzer. This project includes the installation of control panel isolation circuit breakers for Generator 1 and Generator 5 and replacement of the feeder between unit substation USS-5 and Dewatering Building’s main switchboard SBD-5. The project requires the contractor to perform electrical work, including medium voltage cable installation, wire installation, and instrument and communication wire and cable installation. The contractor must also provide a performance bond and payment bond. The city engineer's opinion of probable construction cost for the work is $1,130,000.
