Utility Pavement and Concrete Repair

The City of Pomona is seeking informal quotes from qualified firms for utility pavement and concrete repair. The work includes replacing temporary utility pavement and sidewalk repair patches with permanent patches per City Standard Drawings A-26-02 and A-7-02. The qualified contractor must have a valid Class A or C-12 license with the State of California and at least five years of experience with permanent pavement and concrete repairs within public right-of-way. • The project involves replacing temporary patches with permanent AC, ARHM, or concrete material. • The contractor must provide proposed concrete and pavement mix design as part of their bid proposal. • The City has an option to continue the pavement repair contract with the chosen contractor for two additional work assignment periods of one year each. • The annual engineering estimate for this work is $300,000. • The project is subject to prevailing wage requirements. • The contractor must provide traffic control plans and adjust water valve boxes, meter boxes, and other infrastructure to final street/sidewalk grade.
