CHURCH POINT DETENTION AND FLOOD PROOFING PHASE 2 FOR THE LOUISIANA WATERSHED INITIATIVE

This project calls for the design‑build of a new detention pond (Phase 2) as part of the Louisiana Watershed Initiative. The contractor will perform extensive earthwork—including roughly 16,500 cubic yards of excavation and 7,600 cubic yards of embankment—install drainage intake and outfall control structures, construct an aggregate‑access drive, and perform related miscellaneous works required for pond functionality. The bid package requires a minimum 5 % bid bond, and the successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds equal to 100 % of the contract amount.
