The City of Somerville is seeking a qualified vendor to supply a comprehensive inventory of water‑main pipe, fittings, fire hydrants, lead‑free brass components, sewer pipe, and related accessories, together with a 24/7 inventory‑management system and a ten‑year replacement warranty. The contract is initially for one year with two optional one‑year renewals, and the supplier must provide a 5 % bid deposit, meet stringent technical specifications (AWWA, ASTM, NSF‑61), and be capable of a 24‑hour emergency response. • Supply of ductile‑iron water‑main pipe, resilient‑seat gate valves, couplings, service boxes, and fire hydrants meeting AWWA standards. • Provision of lead‑free brass fittings, PVC/HDPE sewer pipe, and associated fittings (couplings, elbows, tees, etc.). • Delivery of an inventory‑management software platform, 24/7 access, training, and a ten‑year warranty covering all items; all costs must be incorporated into the unit prices. • Mandatory compliance with Living‑Wage Ordinance, Wage‑Theft Ordinance, OSHA, Vulnerable‑Road‑Users ordinance, and required insurance and bonding. • Bid deposit of 5 % required; award will be based on the lowest total price over the three‑year contract period.
