RFP - Professional Services for Preparation of a Citywide Wayfinding Signage Master Plan

The City of McPherson seeks a qualified professional firm to develop a comprehensive Wayfinding Signage Master Plan that will standardize, design, and guide the implementation of citywide signage. The scope includes creating a signage classification system, developing design concepts, estimating costs, and providing implementation guidance to improve navigation, enhance civic identity, and support residents and visitors. • Produce a complete signage classification system covering all city streets, public facilities, and key destinations. • Develop conceptual design standards, graphics, and material recommendations for consistent wayfinding signage. • Provide detailed cost estimates and phased implementation guidance, including maintenance and future updating protocols. • Deliver a final master plan document, presentation materials, and supporting graphics for city officials and stakeholders. • Coordinate with city staff and possibly hold public outreach to ensure the plan aligns with community needs and city branding.
