Traffic Signal Equipment

The City of Des Moines Engineering Department is soliciting sealed bids from qualified companies for the purchase and delivery of Traffic Signal Equipment. The equipment includes various types of signal heads, handholes, signal cables, and other related items. The successful bidder will be required to provide all costs associated with providing and delivering the equipment, including labor, supervision, travel, freight, and delivery costs. The bid must be submitted through the City's electronic bidding system, and responses will be accepted until the close date and time listed. • The City reserves the right to waive any minor irregularities, deficiencies, and informalities in the bids. • The City will evaluate the bids based on the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. • The contract will commence upon issuance of a purchase order and terminate upon project completion. • The City requires the successful bidder to provide proof of insurance and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
