Comprehensive Housing Study and Assessment

The County of Lexington is seeking a qualified consulting firm to conduct a Comprehensive Housing Study and Assessment for its Community Development Department. The study must inventory current housing stock (single‑family, mobile, attached, multifamily) across unincorporated areas and 15 municipalities, analyze demographic and salary trends, identify critical housing needs for various income and demographic groups, evaluate fiscal impacts on the County, and assess service‑level impacts on emergency management, solid waste, and road infrastructure. The final deliverable includes a detailed report, GIS files, fiscal impact models, and prioritized recommendations with implementation steps, funding opportunities, and responsible parties.
