The Massachusetts State Police is seeking vendors who can provide federally approved child car seats for distribution to selected communities and non-profit entities across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The contract has a rolling enrollment process, and the Department makes no guarantee that any commodities or services will be purchased from any contract resulting from this RFR. The contractor must obtain written approval from the Department prior to substituting products. The contract duration is 3 years with two renewal options of up to 2 years each, making the total maximum contract duration 7 years. The Department is looking for the "Best Value" response, which is timely, supports the required performance outcomes, and provides the greatest quantity of services at the highest quality. • The contractor must provide federally approved child car seats, including but not limited to child car seats, convertible car seats, combination car seats, booster seats, and repair parts/accessories. • The contractor must obtain written approval from the Department prior to substituting products. • The contract has a rolling enrollment process, and the Department makes no guarantee that any commodities or services will be purchased from any contract resulting from this RFR. • The contractor must comply with the Supplier Diversity Program (SDP) requirements. • The contractor must provide environmentally preferable products and services. • The contractor must comply with the Buy American Act, if applicable.
