Description
The Chennault International Airport Authority is seeking qualified contractors to repair, recoat, and upgrade the controls on Firewater Pumphouse #2’s two firewater storage tanks. The work includes mechanical repairs to the tanks, removal of existing coatings, application of new protective coatings, and installation/upgrading of control system components to meet current specifications. Bids must be sealed and submitted by the stated deadline, and the successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds equal to 100 % of the contract price.
• Scope: Mechanical tank repairs, surface preparation, recoating, and control system upgrade (electrical & instrumentation).
• Required bonds: 5 % bid bond; 100 % performance and payment bonds.
• Mandatory pre‑bid conference on October 28, 2026 (attendance optional but recommended).
