Aircraft repairs and Maintenance

The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office is seeking Proposers from whom it may purchase maintenance and repair services on an as-needed basis for their 1979 Cessna R172K fixed wing single engine aircraft. The contract term shall be 5 years. Proposers must meet minimum requirements, including being a legal entity registered to do business in the State of Oregon, and providing verification of insurance requirements. The evaluation criteria include programmatic questions (75%) and responsible business practice questions (25%). Proposers are encouraged to describe their ability to execute repairs and aircraft inspections, testing procedures, and approaches to bringing underperforming equipment into compliance. Some key points to consider: • The aircraft requires regular maintenance services, including annual inspections, ELT inspections, and transponder inspections. • The successful bidder must guarantee/warranty against any defects in workmanship or materials. • All materials, parts, and supplies used for repair and maintenance services must meet Federal Aviation Administration requirements. • Proposers must submit a complete cost proposal, including hourly rates, materials markup, and anticipated hours needed to accomplish the work. • Multnomah County reserves the right to conduct an audit or request documentation to substantiate costs invoiced by the Proposer.
