Reburial Services for Excavated Human Remains

The City of Indianapolis is seeking qualified vendors to provide reburial services for human remains uncovered during construction or excavation activities. The scope includes handling approximately 533 partial remains and isolated elements, placing each in individual containers (e.g., small cardboard boxes or muslin bags), and allowing multiple containers to be consolidated within a single vault or burial container as agreed with the City’s Community Advisory Group.
