Water Slide Maintenance for Carlsbad Water Park

The City of Carlsbad is seeking a qualified company to perform water slide maintenance services at the Carlsbad Water Park. The services include slide refurbishment, steel structure inspections and restoration, and annual maintenance and repairs. The company should be able to remove calcium buildup, buff, polish, wax, and clean the slide interior, as well as perform minor repairs to the fiberglass slide path. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to extend for up to three additional years. • The water park features five slides, including two drop slides and three open flume body slides. • The company should have experience in performing similar services and should be able to provide all necessary equipment and personnel. • The City of Carlsbad reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the proposal process. • The evaluation criteria will include factors such as experience, qualifications, and price. • The contract will be awarded to the proposal that is most advantageous to the City of Carlsbad, taking into consideration the evaluation factors set forth in the RFP.
