Calcium Magnesium Acetate (CMA) Deicer

The Michigan Department of Transportation is seeking a contractor to provide Calcium Magnesium Acetate (CMA) Deicer for use in winter operations on several bridge structures throughout the state of Michigan. The CMA Deicer is a non-corrosive alternative to corrosive road salt. The contractor must be a certified authorized distributor of CMA Deicer and provide documentation to support this requirement. The evaluation process will be based on a pass/fail basis, and the State will consider factors such as the completeness of the proposal, the bidder's experience, and the price. • The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder who offers the best value to the State. • The bidder must submit a complete proposal, including all attachments, modifications, or withdrawals, electronically through www.michigan.gov/SIGMAVSS by the deadline. • The State reserves the right to disqualify bidders who do not follow the RFP instructions or who provide false or misleading information. • The State may consider late proposals under certain circumstances, such as if no proposals are received or if no complete proposals are received.
