Wood Pole Inspection, Test, and Treatment Services

The City of Tacoma seeks a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive wood‑pole inspection, testing, and treatment services for its utility network. The work includes visual inspections, sounding and boring of poles, treatment of decay, excavation when needed, installation of pole numbers and guy‑guards, removal of “BO” graffiti, data capture via Survey 123, and submission of detailed reports. The contract is a two‑year base term with two optional one‑year extensions, and the total estimated value is $2.15 million.
