Verdi Powerhouse Improvements

The Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) is seeking bids for the Verdi Powerhouse Improvements project. The project involves several improvements, including the replacement of an existing 24" bypass valve and mechanical piping, repair and resurfacing of existing concrete tailrace walls, repair of an existing riveted steel penstock, and replacement of diamond plate decking with metal grate decking. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held on May 5, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at 180 Bridge St, Verdi, NV. Bids will be accepted from only those bidders in attendance at the meeting and site visit. • The project is deemed a Horizontal Construction Project. • The Engineer's estimate for the project is $1,125,000 - $1,375,000. • Bids will be accepted electronically via NGEM and are due no later than May 19, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. (PT).
