Self-Provisioned Fiber Maintenance

The Rochester Community Schools is seeking a vendor to provide self-provisioned fiber maintenance services for 26 buildings with approximately 29 miles of fiber connecting back to the Administration Building. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing routine maintenance and inspections, handling unscheduled outages, and repairing or replacing damaged fiber. The contract is expected to be for one year, with the option for multi-year agreements. • The vendor must have experience in providing similar services to educational institutions. • The vendor must be able to provide a 24/7/365 phone number for emergency services. • The vendor must be able to provide a plan for service restoration or improvement within one hour of an outage or service-impacting incident. • The vendor must be able to provide financial or service credit penalties if the service level agreement is violated.
