Water softener salt supply and delivery services

The purpose of this RFP is to establish a contract for the supply and delivery of water softener salt to various Hennepin County facilities on an as-needed or as-requested basis. The scope of work includes furnishing and delivering individual bags of water softener salt, pallets containing 40-pound bags, and bulk water softener salt. The contractor must provide a minimum of 24 hours advance notice prior to each delivery and ensure that all deliveries are made during normal business hours. The contractor must also comply with all applicable statutes, codes, and regulations, and provide safety training that meets OSHA standards. Some key points to consider: • The contractor must have a minimum of three consecutive years of experience in the supply and delivery of water softener salt. • The contractor must provide at least three references using the Attachment D-Reference Form. • The contractor must be registered with the Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State under the legal name submitted in the bid. • The contractor must self-perform all primary work and not subcontract without prior written authorization. • The contractor must provide a safety plan and comply with all safety regulations.
