Pharmacy Benefit Management Services

The State of Indiana is seeking comprehensive Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) services for the State Employee Health Plans and other participants in the IAPPP. The selected provider will be responsible for providing best-in-class discounts and rebates, network management, clinical programs, formulary management, utilization management, claims administration, fraud detection, compliance with state and federal regulations, integration with the medical third-party administrator (TPA), dispute resolution, and customer service. The contract will cover approximately 55,411 subscribers and a total of 117,852 covered members. • The provider must have experience in managing pharmacy benefit programs for large groups. • The provider must have a strong network of pharmacies and a robust formulary management system. • The provider must be able to integrate with the medical TPA and provide seamless customer service. • The provider must be compliant with all state and federal regulations. • The provider must have a proven track record of delivering cost savings and improving health outcomes.
