Poncha Substation Service

The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) is seeking a contractor to provide labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary to complete a multi-part project to increase the reliability of the Poncha substation service feed and provide backup power to help decrease station service outages. The project includes demolition and site development, installation of main station service equipment, over the trench distribution panels, gas cart safety switches, LP tank and generator pad, grounding systems, conduit, and insulated cable. The project is expected to take 365 calendar days to complete after Notice to Proceed. • Provide demolition and site development • Furnish and install main station service equipment • Furnish and install over the trench distribution panels • Furnish and install gas cart safety switches • Furnish and install LP tank and generator pad • Remove and dispose of two existing pad mount transformers • Furnish and install grounding systems, conduit, and insulated cable • Install associated cable terminations
