Administrative Adjudication Hearing Officer

The City of Park Ridge is soliciting proposals for the role of Administrative Adjudication Hearing Officer. This position will be responsible for conducting administrative hearings, reviewing evidence, making legal determinations, and issuing written decisions in accordance with municipal ordinances and state law. The award will provide the City with a qualified professional to manage adjudication processes, ensuring fairness, transparency, and compliance with procedural requirements. • Conduct and preside over administrative hearings for city matters such as code violations, permits, and other regulatory issues. • Review case files, evidence, and testimony to make legally sound determinations. • Draft and issue written decisions, orders, and recommendations. • Provide legal guidance to city staff and ensure compliance with applicable statutes and regulations. • Maintain accurate records of proceedings and decisions for public access and audit purposes.
