RFP No. 256035 Appraisal and Related Real Property Valuation Consulting Services

The City of Salem is seeking a consultant to provide appraisal and related real property valuation consulting services on a continuing service basis. The consultant will provide personal and technical services on an "assignment by assignment" basis and for a "not to exceed" fee based on the established rates for the agreement. The scope of work includes providing appraisal reports, testimony, and other related services. The consultant will be required to designate a key staff person to be the City's primary contact for the duration of the annual contract. The City will generally rotate project assignments to provide opportunities for all consultants selected to provide appraisal and related services. • The consultant must have experience in providing appraisal and related real property valuation consulting services. • The consultant must have a thorough understanding of the appraisal process and be able to provide high-quality appraisal reports. • The consultant must be able to communicate effectively with City staff and other stakeholders. • The consultant must be able to work independently and as part of a team. • The consultant must be able to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work products in a timely manner.
