CSI - Temporary Student Housing

East Carolina University (ECU) seeks a qualified lessor to provide temporary student housing for 18‑36 ECU students and one instructor/staff member near the Coastal Studies Institute (CSI) in Wanchese/Manteo, NC. The lease must cover the 2027 academic year (Jan 1 2027 – Dec 31 2027) with two optional one‑year renewals. Space must be in complete apartment buildings (preferably low‑rise, ≤7 stories) with adequate bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchenettes, common areas, and required furnishings. The lessor must supply all partitions, doors, lighting, HVAC, internet, telephone, parking, and janitorial/pest‑control services, and must meet all state building, safety, ADA, and energy‑efficiency standards (including SB 668). Proposals are to be submitted electronically via North Carolina eProcurement (eVP) by 2:00 PM ET on October 26 2026 and must include cost per student bed, net usable square footage, and a floor plan.
