Maintenance, Repair and Preservation of YT-811

The U.S. Navy’s Puget Sound Regional Maintenance Center seeks a qualified contractor to perform a comprehensive, stand‑alone Firm‑Fixed‑Price repair, maintenance, and preservation effort on the 90‑ft steel vessel YT‑811. The contractor must have a facility capable of handling the vessel’s dimensions within the Puget Sound, WA region, and will be responsible for everything from docking, cleaning, blasting, and coating to ultrasonic and visual inspections, system testing, component repairs, and final undocking and delivery back to the Government. This is an open‑competition RFQ; all offerors must be SAM‑registered. <br/><br/>• Scope includes hull, deck, and superstructure blasting, preservation, and coating.<br/>• Perform ultrasonic testing (UT) and visual inspections (VT) on hull and decks.<br/>• Repair hydraulic, valve, and structural components (winch, mast, expansion joints, etc.).<br/>• Test and preserve CHT, ballast, potable water, fuel oil, waste oil, and day tanks.<br/>• Replace lighting, placards, labels, hydraulic hoses, and winch control piping.<br/>• Facility must be located in the defined Puget Sound region (Olympia to Bellingham, WA).<br/>• Vessel ready for pick‑up on or after 2 Mar 2027.<br/>• Contractor responsible for transport coordination, docking, work execution, and return delivery.<br/>• Full and open competition; SAM registration required.
