Description
The Macon Water Authority (MWA) is seeking sealed bids for the procurement of a new backhoe trailer to be used for its operations. Bidders must submit a single unit (quantity 1) meeting the detailed specifications listed (40,000 lb capacity, 7,600 lb tare, dimensions, axle spacing, tires, etc.) by 12:00 PM on November 18, 2026. Bids will be opened publicly at 2:00 PM the same day at the MWA Engineering Training Room. The authority reserves the right to award the contract to any responsible bidder, not necessarily the lowest price, and may consider factors such as reputation, financial responsibility, and experience. All required submittals, including a Manufacturer’s Statement of Origin, must be delivered with the bid.
