Sludge Dewatering Polymer for Papio Creek Wastewater Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF)

The City of Omaha is seeking bids from qualified companies for the supply of liquid polymer for sludge dewatering applications at the Papillion Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant. The contract will be for a period of one calendar year, with the option to extend for four additional one-year periods. The successful bidder will be required to provide approximately 62,500 gallons of liquid polymer, with deliveries made in 5,000-gallon increments. The polymer must meet certain minimum requirements, including a cake solids content of greater than 20% and a sludge cake dewatering rate of greater than 8,000 lbs/hr. • The contract will be awarded to the lowest bidder, subject to performance evaluation and acceptance by the City. • The supplier will be responsible for providing all polymer for field performance tests. • The City reserves the right to cancel the contract if the supplier fails to meet the performance requirements. • The supplier must comply with all federal and state regulations concerning the transport of chemicals. • The supplier must provide a certified analysis of the product delivered with each invoice.
