Trash and Recycling Collection Service 2026

The Regional Transportation District (RTD) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide reliable, timely, and fully documented trash and recycling collection services across multiple RTD facilities in the Denver metropolitan area. The contract will establish fixed pricing, clear service expectations, performance standards, and audit-ready reporting to ensure cost control, service consistency, and compliance. The contractor will be responsible for collecting trash and recyclables from RTD facilities, including but not limited to, bus and rail stations, parking garages, and administrative offices. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to extend for up to four additional years. • The contractor must have experience in providing similar services to large organizations or government agencies. • The contractor must have a proven track record of providing reliable and timely services. • The contractor must have the necessary equipment and personnel to perform the services. • The contractor must be able to provide audit-ready reporting and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. • The contractor must be able to work with RTD staff to ensure a smooth transition of services.
