Design Services for Study Rooms at the Ames Public Library

The City of Ames is seeking a qualified firm to design two second-floor study rooms at the Ames Public Library, expanding into adjacent space. The firm will be responsible for providing all necessary services, including time expended to accomplish tasks, meetings, reports, presentations, and other tangible items required. The City prefers to start construction this spring, but no specific schedule is provided. • The proposal should include all prices and requested data properly filled in, and acknowledgement of receipt of all addenda. • The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities, and to make such awards as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City. • A 1% local consideration shall be applied to acceptable proposals from businesses located within Ames City limits and pays commercial property tax. • The City will have the right to use ideas or adaptations of ideas presented in the proposals.
