Phase 1 – Pre-Reviewed Housing Program – Architectural Services

The City of Indianapolis is establishing a Pre‑Reviewed Housing Catalog to streamline permitting for residential construction. The selected architectural firm will develop a set of standardized, permit‑ready design packages (single‑family homes, duplexes, and accessory dwelling units) that incorporate city‑approved assumptions and limitations, and will collaborate on liability frameworks, community outreach, and documentation. The contract will be awarded on a qualifications‑based basis; no price is disclosed at this stage. • Develop 7 non‑site‑specific, code‑compliant design sets (plans, elevations, optional façade variations). • Create accompanying assumption documents (soil, foundation, zoning, etc.) and a liability/indemnification framework. • Participate in community‑engagement activities and provide design feedback to the City. • Deliver all work as City‑owned “works‑for‑hire” with unrestricted public use. • Must acknowledge receipt of all addenda and meet Indiana licensure requirements before contract execution.
