The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a vendor to provide metal recycling services for the Long Beach VA Healthcare System. The contract will be for a period of 5 years, from 2026 to 2031. The vendor will be required to provide two 40-cubic-yard roll-off bins, one at the east side of Bldg. 149 and one at the south side of Bldg. 7, both of which will be kept on-site. The estimated average weight per pickup for both bins combined is 9,000 lbs. The vendor will be paid for the recycled metal, and the payment will be made based on the weight of the metal collected. • The vendor must provide separate documents to indicate itemized service cost and recycling value. • The vendor must provide receipts for the weight of scrap metal being picked up and the amount paid to the VA. • The vendor must have ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications. • The vendor must provide metal recycling services for the Long Beach VA Healthcare System.
