Open-Ended Consulting Services

The St. Mary’s County Government is seeking qualified firms to provide various consulting services, including architectural, engineering, surveying, construction management, and construction inspection. The contract will be for a term of approximately 5 years, with the option to extend. The selected firms will provide services on an as-needed basis, and the County reserves the right to award contracts to multiple firms. The services required include: • Architectural/Design Services • Engineering Services • Marine Design and Engineering • Surveying • Construction Management • Construction Inspection The County is looking for firms with experience in providing these services, and the ability to work on a variety of projects, including building design, transportation infrastructure, and environmental projects. The firms will be required to provide a technical proposal, a price proposal, and other documentation as part of the bidding process. Some of the key services that may be required include: • Design and planning • Engineering and construction management • Surveying and mapping • Environmental services • Construction inspection and testing • Project management and coordination The County is seeking firms that can provide high-quality services, and that have a strong track record of completing projects on time and within budget. • Firms may propose to provide any or all services described herein, including that of a single discipline. • Quotes for Projects will be requested from each Vendor who is awarded an applicable ‘Open-Ended’ Contract for these Services. • Each Project will be awarded to the vendor in accordance with Section 12, by way of Purchase Order and a separate Notice to Proceed.
