USCG Base Kodiak Hazardous Waste Disposal

The USCG Base Kodiak has a requirement for the preparation, shipment, and off-site disposal or recycling of hazardous waste and/or other regulated wastes. The contractor will be responsible for managing and disposing of the waste in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor must demonstrate knowledge and experience of management/profiling, shipment preparation, transportation, final treatment, disposal, and/or recycling of hazardous waste within the State of Alaska, including working in remote areas of the state. The contractor must also have a valid Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) license(s) to manage hazardous materials. • The contractor will be required to provide a firm-fixed price for the entirety of the effort. • The contractor will be required to provide a technical capability section, with no more than 10 pages, that clearly describes the offeror’s capability to perform the government’s requirement. • The contractor will be evaluated based on best value, where technical expertise and experience with hazardous waste handling in Alaska are more important than price.
