CTL_FY26I RFP for Accounting and Financial Reporting Services

The County of San Mateo is seeking proposals for accounting and financial reporting services. The selected contractor will provide services to the Controller's Office, including preparation of the County Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) and the Annual Financial Report for the San Mateo Joint Powers Financing Authority (JPFA). The contract term is expected to be one year, with an option to extend for an additional year. The contractor will be required to demonstrate experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB). • The contractor will be responsible for preparing the ACFR and JPFA financial reports. • The contractor will be required to reconcile the beginning fund balance of the County Financial System (OFAS) with the ending fund balance as reported on the ACFR. • The contractor will be expected to provide worksheets for the County's data inputs for reporting annual state financial transactions and special districts. • The contractor will be required to provide a fee proposal that includes an hourly rate for services and support.
