Treasurer/Collector's Office Consulting Services

The Town of Hudson is seeking a consultant to provide Treasurer/Collector's Office consulting services. The consultant will assist the Town Manager and Finance Director in training and supporting the Treasurer/Collector's Office, creating and reconciling the FY'24, FY'25, and FY'26 Cash Book to the Town's bank statements, and providing other financial and cashbook reconciliation support. The consultant will also participate in meetings of the finance team and coordinate with the Town's audit firm. The contract is expected to be in effect through June 30, 2026, with an estimated value of $105,000 per fiscal year. • The consultant must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management for Massachusetts cities or towns. • The consultant must be able to devote sufficient time to accomplish tasks on a timely basis as assigned by the Town Manager/Finance Director. • The consultant must be available to work on-site as requested and be available to work for the Town up to 750 hours per calendar year. • The consultant must provide references and respond to comparative evaluative criteria. • The consultant must submit a price proposal, including an hourly rate, and specify whether the rate will change over the life of the contract.
