NWI Offsite Pathology Services

The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive pathology and laboratory‑medicine services for the Nebraska‑Western Iowa Health Care System (NWIHCS). The contractor will be responsible for pre‑analytic processing, analysis, reporting, and interpretation of clinical and anatomic pathology specimens across multiple VA sites in Omaha, Lincoln, and Grand Island, Nebraska. Services include histology, cytology, microbiology, chemistry, hematology, molecular pathology, autopsy services, and related consults, with strict turnaround times, quality‑assurance monitoring, and adherence to CLIA, CAP, Joint Commission, HIPAA, and VA security requirements. The contract is a 5‑year IDIQ with a ceiling of $8 M and a minimum ordering amount of $2 K.
