The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a sole‑source contractor to provide rapid (24‑hour turnaround) pathology services for kidney biopsy interpretation and brain autopsy examinations for the VAMC Loma Linda. The work includes immunofluorescence, H&E slide evaluation, brain grossing, and delivery of diagnostic reports, with all logistics (pick‑up, delivery, supplies) handled by the contractor. • Perform kidney biopsy interpretation (including IF and H&E) with 24‑hour turnaround. • Conduct brain autopsy grossing and histologic interpretation, also within 24 hours. • Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and same‑day specimen transport. • Reduce re‑biopsy rates and expedite patient care for critical cases. • Submit a capability statement by 10 am PT on 16 Oct 2026; no pricing required at this stage.
