R699--MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTION SERVICE

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide 24/7 off‑site medical transcription services for seven VA health‑care facilities in the VISN 22 network (Albuquerque, Amarillo, Big Spring, El Paso, Phoenix, Prescott, Tucson). The contractor must supply all personnel, equipment, software, toll‑free lines, secure HIPAA‑compliant communications, and ensure transcription of a wide range of clinical documents (discharge summaries, operative reports, C&P exams, progress notes, etc.) within strict turnaround times (2 hrs for STAT, 4 hrs for H&P, 6 hrs for operative reports, 24 hrs for all others). Services are to be performed remotely within the United States; all staff must be U.S. citizens. The contract will be a Blanket Purchase Agreement with task orders, billed monthly based on visible black character (VBC) counts. The VA will monitor quality, turnaround, and security, and may impose payment discounts for missed TATs or errors. • 24/7, 365‑day coverage for seven VA facilities. • Required turnaround: 2 hrs (STAT), 4 hrs (H&P), 6 hrs (operative), 24 hrs (others). • All work performed in the U.S.; staff must be U.S. citizens. • Billing based on VBC count; monthly invoicing. • Mandatory HIPAA‑compliant, secure VPN/VISTA integration. • Contractor must provide project manager, toll‑free number, and on‑site training as needed.
