Garbage/Trash Disposal

The State of Hawaii, Department of Land and Natural Resources, Division of State Parks is seeking a contractor to provide garbage/trash disposal services at the Malaekahana State Recreational Area. The contractor will be required to deliver two 8 cubic yard garbage/trash containers with locking covers to the area and collect garbage/trash two times per week. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with the option to extend for an additional 12 months. The contractor must have a permanent office location, adequate equipment, and a sufficient number of employees to perform the work. The contractor must also comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to workers' compensation, unemployment compensation, and worker safety. • The contractor will be required to provide liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $1,000,000 combined single limit per occurrence for bodily injury and property damage. • The contractor will be required to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the State of Hawaii, its officials, employees, representatives, and agents against any claim or liability. • The contractor will be required to send an original monthly invoice upon completion of all services listed in the purchase order.
