Metro WWTP Operator Training

The City of Columbia is seeking a qualified consultant to provide wastewater compliance training for staff at the Metro Wastewater Treatment Plant. The consultant will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs, including annual operator training, safety training, and pretreatment training. The consultant will also be required to evaluate and update existing training programs and provide recommendations for improvement. The City is looking for a consultant with experience in wastewater treatment, compliance, and safety training, as well as experience working with the City's Metro WWTP. • The consultant will be required to provide training sessions over multiple days, with multiple sessions per day, to ensure all shifts are covered. • The consultant will be required to conduct classroom presentations and prepare certification examinations for wastewater treatment staff. • The consultant will be required to review and update the current safety program and provide recommendations for improvement. • The consultant will be required to conduct monthly safety inspections along with compliance staff.
